YT Content Creators Meetup

Its been 3 glorious years since 2023 of going to 
the You Tube Meetups.
Last couple times Magic Metals put it on but 
this year its all up in the air and mostly due to 
lack of participation i take it.

Last year was such a small gathering and lots 
of channels didn't RSVP or even show but I did.
I was exhausted at the last one fighting back a
well needed  rest with last years hectic schedule.

Johns Alaska Showed up all 3 and brought a 
chest of Coronas...I brought Banana Salad from
a College cookbook i have in my stash of cookbooks.
People seemed to love it as it had a tang of mayo..
I was questioned about its use in a fruit salad
but yeah that was the recipe.

In 2025 I had brought a coconut cake the was 
a success for the most part...Ive never made one
before so it was splendid.
The cook or chef i should say made a smoked pork
loin that was the craziest best ive ever had..

There seems to be little groups that gather and 
gossip,stories are told and friendships are made.
Bill gave a dissertation on Google and You Tube
security which was well received and Crystal gave
a long talk on the you tube experience and how
not to live your life by the comments which 
I fell victim too and it consumed my life to the 
point of exasperation.

I was doing the thing she was saying not to and
it wore me out to the point I tossed the towel
out with the bathwater.
New channel and new direction without 242,000
people making demands i could not possibly fulfill.

The new Channel Conundrum is an exploration
of sorts but a new leaf turned over as I did not
earn all those subs but instead they came from
Tik Tok and other platforms on someone elses
recommendation. 
I did appreciate the advertisement and ran 
with the ball all the way to the point of failure.

What killed me was all the cooking videos I was
doing with dwindling views to match.
And no money to produce all things Alaskan.
Trick is to be a variety which is what I now have
providing my gigabit internet connection coming
this construction season so I am told.
My meager 2 mb upload is paltry at best.

I am hoping that this new year brings a new YT
Content Creators Meetup..but who knows really.
My advice is to remain vigilant.
